Another season of music festivals is winding to an end and while we had many here in The Detroit area it was the Chicago Riot Fest that housed many of our Michigan natives. Acts like We Came as Romans, La dispute, Andrew WK, all rocked the stage at some point during this three day festival. Riot Fest does a great job providing world-class sound for some of the top names in Music some of the sets we caught were Weezer, Wu-Tang Clan, The Cure and Jane's addiction, but it was the worldly controversial Pussy Riot joined by Henry Rollins on stage for panel discussion that stole the show for us--well them and Die Antwood with their oddly erotic sound and look. It's amazing what South African hip-hop, half naked people and $7 beers can do to a crowd! Overall the festival was success, the nightly music set are provided with a great light show visual, but if you plan on attending next year bring your hiking boots because the festivals main stages seem to be near a mile apart.

Until next time - Norm
